We are looking for an exceptional leader to head our Retail Content Studio - a fully integrated in-house production unit responsible for conceiving, making, and delivering high-quality digital content across social and retail platforms. This is a senior general management role that sits at the intersection of creative ambition and production rigour, equivalent in scope and seniority to running a leading content studio or creative production company.
The Content Studio Lead will own the end-to-end creative and production output of the studio, setting the standard for quality, velocity, and cultural relevance across everything we make. Production & Operations: Own the studio's end-to-end output - from brief intake through production, post, and delivery - with full accountability for quality, timeliness, and budget. Build scalable production workflows and manage the Local Agency Partner network with the same rigour applied to the internal team.
Team Leadership & Culture: Build and sustain a high-performance studio culture where creative excellence, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and mutual accountability are the norm. Attract, develop, and retain exceptional talent - and act as the senior face of the studio to stakeholders across Apple.
Platform & Market Expertise: Serve as the studio's authority on China's social and commerce platform ecosystem, translating platform knowledge into actionable creative strategy. Champion a "made in China, for China" philosophy - leveraging local talent, methods, and cultural insight to maximise authenticity and efficiency.
Growth & Scale: Lead with a builder's mindset - continuously evolving the studio's capabilities and contributing to a content model designed to scale across APAC over time.

Demonstrated expertise in China's social media landscape: platform mechanics, audience behaviour, content trends, and monetisation.
Outstanding creative instincts - a clear and confident point of view on what great looks like, and the ability to articulate and defend it.
Strong operational and commercial acumen - able to run a studio like a business without losing the creative soul.
Exceptional communicator and collaborator, equally effective with creative teams, cross-functional partners, and senior stakeholders.
Deep cultural literacy - a genuine understanding of what moves Chinese audiences, brought into every creative decision.
Experienced working within a matrixed organisation - comfortable navigating dual reporting lines and aligning across global and regional leadership simultaneously.

Minimum Qualifications
12+ years of experience in creative, content, or production leadership - spanning agency and/or in-house studio environments.
Proven track record running a creative studio, production company, or agency at a senior leadership level - General Manager, Head of Studio, or equivalent - with direct accountability for team performance, creative output, and operational delivery.
Deep experience producing social content at scale, across a range of formats, budgets, and timelines.
Demonstrated expertise managing external agency or production partners - including briefing, quality management, and commercial oversight.
Experience managing and developing large, multidisciplinary creative and production teams.
Solid understanding of production finance, Business Affairs, and commercial management.
