Your role
The Position:
- Responsible for supporting in achieving revenue target for assigned accounts, including developing account plan & strategy.
- Be the local contact point for the assigned accounts, including relationship-management, co-ordination of projects, samples & documents.
- Monitor the status of the projects and coordinate well with project team.
- Work with relevant stakeholders to coordinate completion & commercialization of customer requests.
- Prepare documents, presentations and statistics requested by Country Management team to support internal and external meetings.
- Involve in preparation and revision of the sales budget and forecasts.
- Co-ordination/execution of customer visits/innovation days.
- Identify new hot-spots and high growth accounts beyond the assigned accounts
Responsibilities:
Account management:
- Set up, drive, and deliver Sales Budget for China Region through SMART action plans aligned with management team on a regular basis;
- Build and execute strategic account plans through external and internal multifunctional engagements;
- Update S&OP Demand Review on a monthly basis.
New Business development:
- Accelerate new business growth in China through new customer development and new product promotion;
- Cross-functional collaboration to expand our new businesses on Food Protection and Nutrition.
Customer relationship:
- Strengthen customer intimacy by frequent F2F visits to build a profitable and sustainable relationship;
- Identify and support customers’ needs to enhance business efficiency, customer intimacy and satisfaction.
Multifunctional Collaboration
- Ensure with the supply team the orders of customers in quantity and in time;
- Timely manage customer complaints with Quality and Technical teams;
- Support APAC Product Managers on Market and Competition Intelligence with comprehensive feedback of market threats and opportunities;
- Support Accounting Department in relation to collection of customer payment.
About you
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Food Science/Marketing.
- Minimum 7 -10 years relevant experience from Flavourings or Food Ingredients B2B Sales, in the following roles as Business Development Manager or as Key Account Manager.
- Familiarity with FMCG manufacturers and markets with a strong preference of exposure in managing large global key accounts and have covered key account management with large local accounts across China.
- Strategic and analytical outlook complemented with regional business leadership experience preferred.
- Ability to translate abstract data and insights into meaningful customer relevant, commercial initiatives.
- Effective project management and facilitation within cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Strong solution-based selling and communication skills in stakeholder engagements to drive growth agenda.
- Have deep insights into way of working with China key FMCG companies to grow and build healthy business pipeline.
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese.
- Computer literate with competence in Microsoft Office Suite.
