Job Description:
The Warehouse Technician is a hands-on role responsible for the accurate and safe execution of daily raw material and packaging operations.
This position ensures the seamless flow of materials by performing receiving, issuing, and returns in strict compliance with safety and quality standards.
The Technician serves as the key link between Planning, Scheduling, Blending, and Filling to coordinate and align raw material availability with production schedules.
Key responsibilities include executing cycle counts, ensuring timely closure of documentation and inventory reports, and overseeing third-party activities to meet the requirements.
1. Receipt operations including bulk RM, drum RM, package receipt. Deliver error-free daily inventory transactions by accurately creating and settling Work Orders (WO) in JDE and WMS systems for all material movements.
2. Be responsible to fulfill the daily raw materials requirement from blending and control room technician.
3. Be responsible to operate the oven and hot room with correct temperature setting and timely
monitoring the raw materials being warmed up.
4. Daily tracking of RM movement including inbound, dispatch to production, transfer to toll blending, etc.
5. Deliver reliable inventory data by executing cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and reporting findings to the Supervisor.
6. Integrate with QC team for RM QC test, tracking RM supplier performance.
7. Be responsible to ensure the proper layout in RM warehouse following the FIFO, as well as
housekeeping.
8. Be responsible to manage the incoming, expired RM sampling and sending to lab for QC check.
9. Permanently implement 5S activity to build up a tidy environment to prevent any contamination.
10. Forklift drivers management and tool box meeting;
11. RM transfer between TC plant to Toll blender & 3rd party DG WH.
12. Follow up the slow moving& obsolete RM handling.
13. Payment check and PR application.
14. Complies and summarizes third-party service data related to raw materials to support settlement processes.
Mandatory:
1. College degree in Chemical, Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
2. At least 3 years’ experience or process engineer role.
3. Good communicator and team worker with the ability and willingness to work closely with others
4. Willingness to teach and share information with others
5. Willingness to learn and show initiatives for self improvements
6. Basic English reading/writing and PC skill.
Desired
1. Familiarity with batch and lubricants process would be advantageous
2 .Familiar with WMS, JDE operation
3. Good problem solving ability
4. Be motivated as self starter
5. Effectively priorities work and handle multiple tasks at the same time
6. Works well under high pressure situations
