Position Summary
As part of the Region Retail Marketing leadership team, you will lead the retail marketing strategy, community ecosystem, and EKIN activation across GSH and East & South China.
You will manage a team of approximately 10 employees through two supervisors, driving retail marketing excellence, athlete engagement, community growth, and marketplace impact at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Retail Marketing Leadership
Develop and execute regional retail marketing strategies aligned with seasonal Region Marketing priorities.
Drive consumer experiences across running, fitness and basketball ecosystems.
Establish scalable frameworks, toolkits and operational standards across the marketplace.
Community & Consumer Strategy
Build long-term community growth strategies across key cities.
Lead member engagement programs that connect consumers to sport for life.
Identify opportunities to expand athlete and member ecosystems.
Team Leadership
Lead and develop a team of approximately 10 employees through two supervisors.
Build organizational capability, succession planning and talent development strategies.
Foster a high-performance and collaborative team culture.
Marketplace Influence
Serve as the primary retail marketing partner for Region Marketing, Geo EKIN and Marketplace leadership teams.
Align cross-functional resources to maximize seasonal business opportunities.
Influence marketplace and store strategies through consumer and community insights.
Operational Excellence
Manage annual planning, budgeting and resource allocation.
Establish KPIs and success metrics across community engagement, athlete education and retail marketing initiatives.
Drive process improvements and scalable solutions across the region.
Qualifications
Experience
7-10+ years of experience in Retail Marketing, Brand Marketing, Consumer Marketing or Sports Marketing.
Experience leading multiple cities, regions or large-scale marketing programs.
Experience managing people and developing managers/supervisors.
Leadership
Proven ability to lead teams through leaders.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Ability to operate effectively in a complex matrix organization.
Skills
Strategic planning and business acumen.
Strong project and budget management capability.
Fluent English communication (written and spoken).
Passion
Deep passion for sports, culture, community building and athlete engagement.
Strong understanding of consumer behavior and retail environments.
