The Business Development Manager is responsible for building and leading the companies activities into following regions: Intra-Asia, Africa, Australia, Arab Gulf, India.
This includes the overall organization in China. The job involves negotiating rates, developing business and support group members in China/Hong Kong.
- Work out a procurement strategy and negotiate freight rates with the carriers.
- Grow strategic overseas partners and coordinate the pricing activities.
- Support area organizations in China with their procurement activities.
- Promote the company brand and its services.
- Handle daily enquiries and ad hoc projects.
- Provide training, coaching, lead and motivate the group members in China/Hong Kong.
- Work out volume targets for the whole group and ensure that targets are met.
- Support the organization in delivering outstanding customer service.
