For our SNC RD T&E TEC/TIP team, we are looking for a System Test Engineer to help us drive system testing within Siemens and beyond. We are a highly motivated team and are excited to get to know you.
You'll make an impact by
- Participating in requirement and design document review from the system test perspective.
- Creating system test cases according to product requirement specifications, feature specifications, and related regulations together with TC, development engineers, and other experts in the test organization.
- Designing and preparing the test setup and environment according to the test plan.
- Performing the defined tests according to the test plan from a user point of view.
- Recording product errors during testing and supporting the debug process together with development engineers.
- Generating and archiving system test reports.
- Maintaining the system test rack according to the latest automation test engine requirements.
- Participating in multi-national teams and international projects (e.g., China, Europe, etc.).
- Analyzing and supporting field problems.
- Maintaining awareness of occupational safety/work safety.
- Handling other assignments arranged by the line manager according to business needs.
Your defining qualities
- Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- More than 2 years of professional experience in the system test area.
- Knowledge of drive/inverter system functions and application know-how.
- Knowledge of LEAN/AGILE development and test processes.
- Familiarity with at least one popular programming language, including script languages (e.g., C#, JS, Python, VB, etc.).
- Experience in using automation test tools.
- Fluent written and spoken English skills are required.
- Basic experience and background in ISO14001 & OHSAS18001.
