YOUR TASKS

Clarification and definition of the requirements for the product-related hardware with the customer in the form of project descriptions; analysis and planning of the hardware development effort.
- Discuss and pursue hardware development goals with the project manager regarding quality, costs, and deadlines according to existing procedures and methods.
- Definition, planning, coordination, and monitoring of hardware development tasks within a development project according to specified methods and systems (e.g. PEP), if necessary, in consultation with the supervisor; coordination of interfaces and ensuring integration into the overall system.
- Planning and involving internal and, if necessary, external sub-suppliers, considering economic, qualitative, and scheduling aspects
- Implementation of defined escalation scenarios in the event of deviations from objectives in hardware development; identification of existing solution alternatives
- Ensuring that defined technical standards are adhered to within the framework of hardware development, coordinating the use of new hardware development concepts, technological alternatives, and materials with the service departments.
- Creating the hardware specifications; analysing and making changes to the hardware specifications
- Preparation of module specifications considering quality, logistics and production requirements
- Development of hardware modules under consideration of existing development standards and guidelines; Ensuring ongoing coordination with involved parties to ensure the integration capability of modules into an overall system.
- Initiation of detailing work for components and modules.
- Analysis, adaptation, and optimization of existing hardware modules according to technical, economic, legal or customer specifications
- Definition of materials and components in consideration of economic, qualitative, and technological aspects in cooperation with the project team
- Development, elaboration, and simulation of electronic circuits in consultation with the responsible authorities; creation of circuit diagrams
- Initiation or preparation of necessary test specifications; initiation of tests at competent authorities; participation in the preparation of test specifications for new products
- Perform defined reviews of hardware development throughout the entire hardware development process and release according to existing guidelines.
- Processing of customer complaints regarding serial devices and manufacturing difficulties in consultation with the responsible departments, such as quality assurance, assembly, laboratories, etc.
- Participation in the examination of the intellectual property rights capability/violation of own and third-party work, if necessary, involving the patent department in consultation with superiors
- Initiation or creation of documentation (e.g. parts lists, circuit diagrams, simulations, FMEA)
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Excellent in analog and digital circuit design, familiar with power management (such as LED driver circuits, DC-DC power supplies), signal conditioning, and EMC/EMI design.
- Excellent in schematic design, PCB layout (multi-layer board design), familiar with thermal management and power optimization.
- Familiar with automotive electronic reliability standards (such as AEC-Q100/101/200, ISO 16750) and functional safety standards(ISO 26262).
Familiar with the hardware integration of car light control modules (such as LDO, motor driving, CAN/LIN transmission, HSS/LSS driving circuit, matrix IC, smart CCS IC and so on.- Familiar with the selection criteria and supply chain management of automotive grade components such as MCU, MOSFET, and sensors, Excellent with new local/global electronic component datasheet review and picking.
- Excellent with using testing instruments (oscilloscope, multi-meter, spectrum analyser) for circuit debugging, locate hardware faults (such as short circuits, overvoltage, overheating) and provide optimization solution.
- Having EMC/EMI testing experience, able to solve vehicle environmental problems such as interference, noise, ESD and surges.
- Familiar with the development process of automotive electronics (such as ASPICE, V model). Prefer with ECU design experience for lamp.
- Fluent English in both verbal and written.
- Familiar with HW tool chain, e.g. Mathcad, Matlab/Simulink, Cadence, Mirco-cap, SPICE、LTspice ect.
