As we approach 2022 they are expanding their project team for upcoming developments in both Hong Kong & Macau. We are now looking for an exceptional Deputy Director - Projects to manage the project teams in a leadership capacity
Job Responsibilities:
- As a Deputy Director - Projects you will be overseeing hospitality and mixed use development projects from conceptual design stage to completion
- Be the figurehead of the Architecture project management team
- Overseeing your executive team, with responsibilities such as master planning, design, managing external consultants and contractors, monitoring of site works in accordance with the specifications and drawings, completion and delivery of the project.
- Consulting with the relevant government authorities across project submissions, approvals, and inspections in a timely manner.
- Keep track of the latest regulations to ensure statutory compliance for all government submissions of the projects.
- Manage the site progress and performance of project team, consultants, contractors and vendors to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with quality requirements, within the established timelines, meeting key milestones and within budget.
- Have a good working relationship with all sections of the Project Department resolving design and engineering issues that may affect the master plan or the progress of work.
Requirements:
- Degree in Architecture or related disciplines
- 25+ years of post-qualification project management experience
- Familiar with Hong Kong & Macau's relevant ordinances
- Professional qualification with HKIA or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience in full cycle project delivery of large-scale mixed use & hospitality development projects
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build a team and lead from the front
- Candidates with less experience will be considered for Senior Project Manager
- Fluency in English & Cantonese are essential
