Razer Gold aims to become the world’s leading payment service provider for games and digital content. As our business grows to meet the needs of gamers globally, we are looking for an experienced software engineer to join our team and fulfil the needs of our gamer customer base.
This is a web development position in which you will be joining a team of engineers to develop web applications that supports gamers globally. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of code and work closely alongside our product team to deliver outstanding features, whilst conforming to coding standards and technical design. As part of the engineering team, you will also assist with other development processes and requirements as needed.
-
Build and maintain web application features across the full delivery cycle — from discovery and design through code, testing, and deployment
-
Translate designs from our UI/UX team into clean, accessible, reusable components, keeping a consistent design language
-
Work with product and project team members to shape requirements, scope, and delivery plans
-
Write, review, optimize, and debug frontend code for performance and quality
-
Help keep the codebase scalable and maintainable as the product grows
Required
-
Solid frontend fundamentals: semantic HTML, modern JavaScript (ES2020+), and CSS
-
Hands-on experience with Vue 3 (ideally with Nuxt 3)
-
Familiarity with responsive, mobile-first design
-
Experience with a CSS pre-processor (SASS/SCSS or LESS)
-
Experience with a Vue component or CSS framework (e.g. Vuetify, Bootstrap)
-
Comfortable working with modern build tooling (Vite)
-
Comfortable with component or unit testing (e.g. Vitest / Vue Test Utils)
-
Working knowledge of accessibility basics (semantic markup, WCAG awareness, keyboard/ARIA)
-
Version control with Git in a team workflow (branches, PRs, reviews)
-
A good eye for UI/UX detail and the ability to spot inconsistencies against a design system
-
Comfortable working with AI-assisted development tooling (e.g. Claude Code, Copilot, or design-to-code tools), and — critically — able to review, test, and take ownership of generated code rather than trusting it blindly, including validating generated components against our design system
-
Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a small team
-
Able to articulate clearly and communicate well in English and Mandarin
-
Show willingness to learn and keep up to date with technology trends
-
BSc in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Bonus
-
Basic backend familiarity: Node / Express and working with a database such as MongoDB
-
Experience with e-commerce or payment applications
-
Awareness of SEO practices
-
Familiarity with analytics tooling (GA / GTM)
-
Deeper accessibility knowledge (WAI / WCAG)
