Reporting to the Head of New Category, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering Dyson’s product roadmap for this emerging category. This position focuses on design leadership for internally and externally developed projects, ensuring alignment with Dyson’s standards for quality, performance, and innovation.
Lead design activities for new category projects, ensuring delivery on time, to specification, and within budget.
Maintain visibility of the long-term product portfolio plan and support evolving business priorities.
Collaborate with Procurement and Supply Chain to identify and manage external partners for products, sub-assemblies, and technologies.
Define and implement processes for partner engagement (RFI/RFP) and resource planning.
Track and report all external partner activities within the new category.
Drive design decisions that balance Dyson’s brand identity with outsourced and internal delivery models.
Act as a key design authority, ensuring technical integrity and compliance with Dyson’s standards throughout the development lifecycle.
Influence and align cross-functional teams to achieve design and business objectives.
