As part of our continued expansion in China, we are seeking a motivated and technically capable Account Manager to help grow our presence and support customers with advanced simulation and testing solutions.
This position combines technical consulting, customer engagement, application engineering, and business development, making it ideal for candidates who enjoy both engineering technology and customer interaction.
As an Account Manager / Application Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer – Real-Time Simulation & Test Solutions, you will contribute to the growth and development of Speedgoat’s customer network in China. This role combines customer engagement, technical solution consulting, and application engineering support to help customers successfully adopt and utilize advanced real-time simulation and testing technologies.
You will be involved throughout the full customer engagement process — from understanding technical requirements and preparing solution proposals, to commercial coordination, project follow-up, implementation support, and customer training. The role requires close collaboration with Speedgoat China, Speedgoat HQ, MathWorks, and regional ecosystem partners to deliver a high-quality customer experience.
This position reports directly to the Managing Director China and provides long-term development opportunities in areas such as Technical Sales, Application Engineering, Customer Support, or future team leadership roles.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Customer Management

Develop and maintain customer relationships across industries including automotive, energy, aerospace, industrial automation, and research institutions

Identifyand develop new business opportunities through direct customer engagement, technical events, digital channels, and partner collaboration

Support the full sales cycle from opportunity qualification and technical discussion to quotation preparation and commercial follow-up

Coordinate with internal stakeholders and HQ teams to ensuretimelyproposal preparation and project execution

Maintain customer activity and opportunity tracking within CRM systems
Technical Solution Support & Application Engineering

Provide technical consultation related to real-time simulation, HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop), and RCP (Rapid Control Prototyping) workflows

Analyze customer technical requirements and recommend suitable Speedgoat platforms and solutions

Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, workshops, and proof-of-concept activities both online and onsite

Support integration, testing, and commissioning activities together with application engineering and support teams

Assistcustomers with technical inquiries, upgrades, repair coordination, and after-sales support activities

Contribute to the preparation of application examples, demo systems, and training materials using MATLAB and Simulink

Work closely with MathWorks China and ecosystem partners to support customer success

Provide customer and market feedback to product management and marketing teams
Marketing & Industry Engagement

Participate in exhibitions, seminars, technical conferences, and customer workshops in China

Support local marketing and branding activities, including technical promotion on digital platforms such as WeChat

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’sdegree in:

Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales, application engineering, system integration, control systems, or testing & measurement related industries
