Qualification
Education
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in vehicle engineering, electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
Experience
• 6+ years of experience in thermal management and comfort domain system design, function design • Experience with OEM or Tier-1 automotive suppliers is strongly preferred • Experience in delivering thermal management and comfort domain system design in centralized EE architecture and SOA platform is preferred
Technical Skills
- Familiary with thermal management and comfort design. Strong knowledge in both powertrain/HV thermal management and cabinet comfort function. Familiar with the thermal control algorithm for different powertrain type: BEV/HEV/REEV/PHEV, etc.
- Familiar with the colling requirement of high-performance ECUs like central computing platform, zone controller, etc., able to design the control logic that integrates their cooling requirement with vehicle’s thermal control system.
- Familiar with cross domain functions like intelligent battery warming. Able to coordinate between cockpit, connectivity, HV system and thermal management domains technical wise to deliver such functionalities.
- Based on data collected from field fleet, able to dive into the thermal control logic to identify possibility to improve efficiency of the thermal system to improve vehicle’s driving range.
• Familiar with SOA concepts, able to contribute to system abstraction and API definition for thermal management and comfort domain system. • Able to work in software way and participate in software design discussion with domain knowhow.
- Familiary with regularly used in-vehicle networks: CAN,Lin,Eth, etc., able to perform thermal management and comfort domain system trouble shooting with these interfaces and software logs.
• Familiar with at least 1 kind of EEA modeling tool, PREEvision, EA, etc., • Familiarity with AUTOSAR (Classic and Adaptive) is a plus

• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail • Fluent in English (German is a plus)
Nice to Have
- Experience with zonal architecture and centralized compute platforms
- Hands-on experience with MB.OS-like platforms or similar SDV architecture
- Knowledge of cloud connectivity and vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication
- Experience in Agile/SAFe development environments
