JOB SUMMARY
As a China & APAC Technical Sales Manager you will be responsible for turning opportunities into deals with your expert technical knowledge turning customer requirements into a technical solution. You will be working with our Nutrition & Health brands.
The China & APAC Technical Sales Manager will play an integral role in growing SPX FLOW's revenue and profits, by adding value to our customers. This position must gain a comprehensive understanding of the SPX FLOW N&HS product portfolio.
In this role, you will own the Technologies and Process Solutions development on which a proposal is based, working with proposals, engineering and sales to build order intake. You will lead the value proposition and technical sales presentations, focusing on differentiation and technical advantages of SPX FLOW solutions. You will help to create early decisions from customers, convincing them to select SPX FLOW solutions.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conceptual design
- Define, based on key client specifications and business drivers, the most relevant technical SPX FLOW solution (technologies, design concept, process flow diagram)
- Work closely with Sales, Innovation Centers, Proposal, Engineering for creating our upstream alternative solutions and for establishing customer’s confidence in our final technical answer
- Proposal
- Own the proposed design solution & support the creation of the offer text for the features and benefits
- Interface closely with Proposals, Engineering to create compelling and complete offers
- Value selling
- Promote technical value of SPX FLOW solution to customers by articulating end-user benefits with a view to building confidence
Educate and develop skills of the commercial team members and regional sales channels
- Follow orders China & APAC performances within your scope of specialty for sizing our performance versus plan and support commercial countermeasures plans if needed
- Innovation
- Encourage innovation centers tests with customers
- Product Management
- Own the product (technology) line and conduct development, promotions, marketing, market analysis

- Schedule, coordinate and conduct Engineering Firm and End-user presentations
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical knowledge of products, applications, features, advantages and benefits. Remain current with relevant internal and external training and development.
- Exhibit proficiency in Consultative Selling, strive to understand the customers' needs and motives, and be adept at selling the value proposition of the optimal solutions.
- Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge of SPX FLOW N&HS and competitive products
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Degree in engineering (or equivalent technical discipline)
- 5+ years of experience in selling integrated technical solutions within the food & beverage, pharmaceutical, or chemical processing industries
- Hands-on experience with membrane filtration technologies
- Strong relationship‑building capabilities and customer‑oriented mindset
- Solid technical understanding combined with commercial acumen
- Proven ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Advanced proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., MS Dynamics, Cloud 4 Customer (C4C), Salesforce) and MS Office, particularly Excel
- Experience in the Nutrition & Health sector (preferred)
- Innovative and strategic thinker, able to deliver client‑focused solutions aligned with customer needs
- Excellent listening, communication, and presentation skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%
