Responsibilities and Duties
1. Production and Quality Monitoring
- Regular inspection and documentation of product quality across the key production stages.
- Ensure compliance with customer-specific quality standards and company requirements.
- Conduct and support internal and external audits at the manufacturer site.
- Monitor finished products, including physical and appearance inspections.
2. Delivery Schedule Monitoring & Logistics Processes
- Monitor production schedules and ensure timely deliveries according to agreed plans.
- Verify correct, safe, and complete loading of containers prior to shipment.
- Escalate risks of delivery delays and initiate corrective actions.
3. Change Management & Technical Documentation
- Identify technical changes at an early stage (design, material, components, processes).
- Document changes and communicate them to the German headquarters.
- Ensure proper implementation of approved changes in serial production.
4. Complaint Handling & Failure Prevention
- Support root cause analysis of customer complaints (8D, Ishikawa, FMEA).
- Monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Ensure sustainable implementation to prevent reoccurrence.
5. Supplier Development & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain personal relationships at all levels of the manufacturer organization.
- Recognize structural or management changes and report them promptly.
- Support the development of long-term stable supplier performance and quality culture.
6. Market and Product Information
- Gather information on new products, technologies, and capabilities at the supplier.
- Provide regular reports to the headquarters on market trends and technological developments.
Required Qualifications
1. Technical Qualifications
- Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, production engineering, or similar field. - Solid knowledge of industrial motor production and components.
- Strong understanding of quality management methods (8D, FMEA, APQP, PPAP).
- Audit experience (ISO 9001) preferred.
- Familiarity with mechanical manufacturing, assembly, and end-of-line testing. 2. Professional Experience
- Min. 5 years of experience in Supplier Quality Management or quality-related roles. - Experience working with local Chinese manufactures is highly preferred.
- Practical experience in technical documentation and engineering change processes. Personal Competencies
