We are looking for a Business Development Manager to develop and grow the company’s business activities and revenues from new and existing market segments and channels.
Key responsibilities:
Lead exploration on opportunities in Singapore and overseas markets. Devise strategies and plans for the business.
Work with the marketing and technical team on marketing needs to support lead generation.
Identify and actively seek new business opportunities, suppliers and customers.
Work with the sales and technical teams to prepare proposals for potential customers.
Prepare business case and presentations to justify the commercial deals.
Manage existing customer relationships and acquire new customers.
Understanding of the products and technology is important in order to engage and advise the customers.
Requirements:
At least 4 years of work experience in the laser, photonics, optics, or a relevant industry, with a proven sales record.
Able to build good customer relationship at all levels.
Able to deliver professional sales presentation, proposals and reports.
Good command of English. Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Able to travel to customer sites for meetings.
Independent, self-driven and motivated individual.
