Job Title: Metrology Programmer
Reports To: Bill Broyles
Hours: 8am-5pm, 100% On-Site
Summary/Objective: The Metrology Programmer will be responsible for creating, editing programs for NR/TG and manufacturing including training on released Metrology equipment.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Primary customer is NR/TG with support to Engineering and Manufacturing as needed.

Create or edit MicroVu or OGP programs.

Work with stakeholders to understand print intent and fixture requirements for programs

Complete capability tests for new programs.

Train the operators or OJT’s how to perform measurements using the automated visual inspection instruments (MicroVu and OGP) and their programs.

Provide support to manufacturing completing support tickets related to the usage of automated visual inspection instruments (MicroVu and OGP).

Maintain control of the usage of the equipment and the stock of consumables, spare parts, etc. in coordination with TPG and the Calibration Laboratory.

Preferred Experience:

2+ years of Metrology experience (traditional programming experience desirable)

Excellent troubleshooting skills

Organized and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously as priorities can change quickly.
Preferred Education:

Mechanical, electrical, electronic engineer or related field (or equivalent experience).
