We are seeking a Middle and High School Orchestra (String) teacher at our Pudong campus. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 5 years of relevant teaching experience. Experience teaching orchestra (strings) at the middle and high school level is essential. This is full-time temporary cover position with possibility for extension. The position is for immediate start; candidates already in China are preferred.

What we are looking for:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree or above
- Teaching credential or equivalent
- Minimum five (5) years teaching experience
- Demonstrated experience:
- teaching middle school and high school Performing Arts
- producing and directing after-school theater productions and/or music concerts
- working with and teaching in alignment to the National Core Arts Standards
- collaborating on curriculum, instruction, and assessment with teaching partner(s) within the high school, middle school, and elementary school to well-articulated learning as students progress through the program
- supporting students' social and emotional growth through an advisory or similar model
- working with learning management systems (e.g. Schoology)
- utilizing effective classroom management strategies
