Role OverviewThis is an evolved, expanded role that combines team leadership of the JBS Dalian Digital Marketing team with active participation in strategic digital marketing delivery. In addition to managing day-to-day team operations (approximately 50% of the role), the incumbent will contribute directly to digital execution and cross-functional collaboration across Greater China Marketing and the India JBS team (approximately 50% of the role).
Key Responsibilities1. Team Management & Operations (approx. 50%)
Lead and manage a team of 6–10 digital marketing and creative professionals, providing day-to-day direction, mentoring, and performance oversight.
Monitor team bandwidth, scope incoming requests, allocate work, and ensure timely delivery in alignment with agreed SLAs.
Establish, implement, and continuously improve team workflows, policies, and processes to drive operational efficiency.
Coordinate with stakeholders and clients to manage expectations, resolve escalations, and communicate on project status.
Maintain accurate activity logs, status reports, and project documentation for client and internal use.
Lead or support transition projects, account onboarding, continuous improvement initiatives, and firm-wide programmes as required.
Perform quality reviews of team output to ensure adherence to brand guidelines and best practices.
Escalate risks or delivery concerns proactively, maintaining an up-to-date issues log.
2. Digital Marketing Delivery – AEM & Eloqua (part of the 50%)
Work as an active contributor within the JBS Dalian Digital Marketing team, supporting the delivery of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Oracle Eloqua requests.
Serve as backup for key team members during their absences, ensuring continuity of delivery.
Maintain hands-on proficiency in AEM and Eloqua platforms to provide quality assurance and practical support.
3. Digital Paid Campaign Management (part of the 50%)
Manage and monitor digital paid advertising campaigns across relevant platforms, working in close collaboration with the Paid Media Agency, Paid Media JBS team, and Business Line Marketers.
Coordinate weekly campaign performance tracking, reporting, and optimisation recommendations.
Oversee the creation, scheduling, and delivery of ad assets, ensuring alignment with campaign objectives and brand standards.
Act as the central point of coordination between internal stakeholders and external agency partners for paid media activities.
4. India JBS Team Liaison (part of the 50%)
Serve as the primary point of contact for all projects and collaborative engagements involving the India JBS team.
Facilitate clear communication, workflow coordination, and knowledge sharing between the Dalian and India JBS teams.
Support onboarding and transition of work between teams as required.
Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesArea
Minimum Required
Preferred
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Communications, New Media, or a related field
Experience
6–10 years of relevant experience in digital marketing, including team management and campaign operations
Experience in a Marketing or Communications agency environment
Technical Skills
Proficiency in project/workflow management tools (e.g. Workfront, Wrike, JIRA)
Experience in data analysis and performance reporting
Working knowledge of paid digital campaign management
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
Hands-on experience with Adobe AEM and Oracle Eloqua
CAPM/PMP certification
Adaptability to new tools and platforms as per business requirements
Communication
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Chinese and English; proficiency in Japanese is a plus
Prior experience working with global or international client teams
Interpersonal & Organisational Skills
Detail-oriented, organised, and solutions-focused; able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines
