YOUR TASKS
As a Project Consultant you acting as the first point of contact to the Product Centers to understand/ identify problems within project management / engineering, to support the root cause analysis, to develop suitable solutions for a HELLA compliant engineering and to prioritize these solutions.

Actively contributing to customer projects by providing professional coaching services within a dedicated area of knowledge to project managers and project teams to overcome peak situations.

Closely integrated with global Engineering Excellence colleagues, actively involved in global improvement initiatives in terms of program management and engineering development process, methods, tools.

Providing advanced trainings and support on 1st level and beyond on selected training topics, like Project Set-Up, Escalation, Project Lifecycle etc.

Supporting the onboarding process of new project managers.

Supporting in challenging the product center/location with regard to optimization opportunities inside of the business.

Driving the development and rollout of change initiatives.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Technical
Bachelor / Master of Science in business administration or engineering related fields (business studies, hardware, mechanical design, system or similar)
Project Management experience for more than 3 years in automotive industry preferred
Good knowledge about Project Management approaches and about a product engineering process
Consulting experience in engineering (optional)
Basic knowledge about quality standards like the IATF 16949 or safety standards like the IEC 61508 or ISO 26262 (optional)

Highly motivated and able to work independently
Strong team player
Strong communication and presentation skills (English and Chinese language)
Quick orientations in new situations
Experienced in implementing practical and sustainable solutions
Experience in the role of a consultant preferred
