Job Description

Develop integrated master project schedule, detailed construction work plans, milestone programmes and resource loading curves using Primavera P6 / MS Project.

Break down WBS for engineering, procurement, fabrication, erection, hook-up and commissioning phases; define activity logic, durations and critical path.

Monitor daily/weekly construction progress, analyse schedule variance, identify critical delays and propose recovery acceleration plans to mitigate schedule slippage.

Issue regular progress reports, S-curves, milestone dashboards and delay analysis reports to project management, client and top management.

Liaise closely with engineering discipline leads, procurement, warehouse, subcontractors and vessel coordinators to align material delivery, equipment arrival and work execution sequences.

Assess impact of design changes, variation orders, site constraints and weather downtime on baseline schedule; update baseline and forecast completion dates accordingly.

Supervise junior planners, assign daily scheduling tasks, review their input data and ensure accuracy of schedule updates and progress measurement.

Support tender & bid phase: prepare preliminary project timelines, schedule cost loading and construction programme proposals for client submissions.

Maintain schedule archives, baseline records, delay registers and all planning documentation throughout project lifecycle for handover and claim support.

Ensure all planning activities follow company procedures, client specifications and international offshore EPC standards.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Marine Engineering or Construction Management.

Minimum 5–8 years progressive planning experience within offshore oil & gas EPC (platform, FPSO, subsea preferred); proven supervisor/lead experience.

Expert proficiency in Primavera P6 is mandatory; competent in MS Project, Excel advanced functions (pivot, formula, Gantt chart).

Solid understanding of offshore fabrication, load-out, sea transportation, offshore installation, hook-up and pre-commissioning workflows.

Familiar with EPC contract terms, delay claim preparation, milestone payment measurement and client reporting requirements.

Fluent written and spoken English for daily client communication, report writing and cross-cultural team coordination.
