About the Role
AIA Hong Kong is looking for a DevOps Technical Project Manager to contribute to lead and optimize a mature enterprise DevOps platform by ensuring its stability, scalability, security, and continuous improvement. The role aims to drive an automation-first DevOps strategy through effective governance, incremental enhancement delivery, and seamless coordination across engineering, security, and compliance teams. Additionally, the objective is to enhance developer productivity, maintain audit readiness, and align platform evolution with enterprise architecture and regulatory requirements while balancing operational excellence with ongoing innovation.
-
Own the day-to-day governance and lifecycle management of an existing enterprise DevOps platform.
-
Manage and prioritize a stable backlog of enhancements, automation improvements, and technical debt remediation.
-
Plan and deliver incremental DevOps features (not disruptive rebuilds) aligned with automation-first objectives.
-
Ensure platform stability, availability, and performance while introducing new tooling and capabilities.
-
Act as the coordination point between DevOps engineers, application teams, security, risk, and audit.
-
Govern SDLC, CI/CD, release, and change processes, ensuring compliance, traceability, and audit-readiness.
-
Balance run vs. change workloads to avoid disrupting high-volume build and release operations.
-
Coordinate remote DevOps engineers in China to achieve targets, ensuring alignment, delivery quality, and clear execution.
-
Drive continuous improvement in:
-
CI/CD pipeline efficiency
-
Automation coverage
-
Security-by-design integration
-
Developer experience
-
Support internal and external audits, ensuring evidence, controls, and documentation are consistently maintained.
-
Track and report on platform KPIs (reliability, throughput, automation coverage, defects, lead time).
-
Evaluate and introduce new automation and AI-assisted capabilities where they provide clear operational value.
-
Ensure platform evolution aligns with enterprise architecture, risk posture, and regulatory requirements.
