Role & Responsibilities:
Key Result Areas:

Support to execute and provide analytical leadership on key strategies for the buying function and closely monitor the responsible market’s product performance across channels to deliver the financial category/classification targets, inventory levels, margins, turns, and sales promotions to ensure maximum return on investment.

Support assortment efficiency during buy to drive through Sell Through improvements, RSP opportunities, volume drivers, and market-specific adaptation

Own seasonal hindsight and foresight and drive category-level product opportunity insights to inform Go-To-Market (GTM) processes and demand forecasting.

Create and maintain size profiles for your market, respond to sizing requests based on business needs, including size grid changes, size-out investigations, and optimize inventory level by monitoring sales and sizing trends.

Track & manage weekly product performance results on seasonal sell-out and make recommendations to maximize profitability, compile and analyze product performance data, and identify missed opportunities

Partner with Retail Planning and Allocation Team on “chasing” or “reflowing” receipts as appropriate, with consideration of commercial needs and operational constraints.

Ensure structured reporting deliverables are met, evaluating reports for accuracy, performance efficiency, and standardized best practices.

Identify potential inventory, demand, or operational risks and proactively communicate mitigation plans.

Support and participate in the continuous effort to improve the buying process and strategies.

Support the implementation of new systems and raise efficiencies to ensure processes enhance workflow

Act as a key point of contact for product-related feedback and inquiries across stakeholders.

Support ad-hoc duties and projects when required.
Competency Requirements:
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret multiple data points across numerous channels and market segments

Advance understanding of retail mathematics and Open to Buy

Good foundation on replenishment, allocations, merchandising, and/or retail fashion store management

Good teamwork and collaboration with cross-functional teams and with all levels of employees

Good sense of style and color trends

Good communication skills - interpersonal, written, and verbal

Entrepreneurship – an ability to make decisions and take calculated risks

Intermediate Excel skills with formulas, pivot tables, LOOKUP, charts, and graphs (SQL & BI tools as an advantage)

Self-awareness, with a desire for constant self-improvement(goal-oriented)
Experience
Minimum Relevant Experience: 5 years’ experience in retail in a buyer, merchant or buying role.
Academic Qualifications
Minimum Degree Held: University degree or equivalent through experience in a relevant field
Language Proficiency:
Fluent in English & Mandarin
