Your aim as an SQA is to lead end-to-end supplier quality management for OEM/ODM products, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, structural reliability, and durability throughout product development and mass production, safeguarding Bugaboo’s premium quality standards.
You are part of the SQA team and report to the SQA Manager.
Conduct supplier pre-assessment and audits to ensure compliance with Bugaboo QMS and CSR requirements
Develop and execute annual audit plans (QMS & CSR), track non-conformities (NC), and drive KPI improvements
Perform supplier witness audits to ensure strict implementation of quality control plans (PPAP)
Align Bugaboo quality specifications with suppliers to ensure full understanding of product and process requirements
Evaluate supplier risks and drive continuous improvement together with SQA Manager and cross-functional teams
Lead supplier issue resolution, including containment and corrective actions using 8D/5Why methodologies
Collaborate with sourcing, engineering, and quality teams to support supplier onboarding, NPD/NCD projects, and performance improvement
Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Materials, Industrial Engineering, or related field
At least 5 years of experience in SQE, quality engineering, or related roles, ideally with OEM/ODM suppliers
Experience in juvenile products, strollers, furniture, or mechanical products is preferred
Strong knowledge of quality tools (8D, 5Why, FMEA, SPC) and PPAP processes
Good understanding of manufacturing processes (welding, stamping, injection molding, stitching, assembly)
Knowledge of material properties (metals, plastics, fabric)
Familiarity with safety and compliance standards such as EN1888 and ASTM F833
Strong risk awareness and ability to identify structural and reliability issues
Experience with reliability and durability validation
You are analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving. You build trust through integrity and collaboration, and you are able to work effectively with cross-functional and international teams.
You have fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
