Job Description

Developing the Project Quality Plans as required by Contract and specifications with the relevant entities, departments and subcontractor(s) involved in the Project.

Liaising with Client/Customer for the approval of the respective Quality Plans.

Initiating preventive and corrective actions where potential risk to Quality is foreseen or identified.

Identifying unique requirements (welding sequences etc.) and/or special processes and/or special control and examination required for any specific activities during the execution of the Project. Subsequent documentation of such requirements through addendum to procedures and/or method statements.

Interacting with all disciplines in each entity throughout the phases of the Project to ensure that quality requirements are met.

Interfacing with Procurement and Vendor inspections to ensure that Project Quality requirements are defined and documented in the respective request for Quotes (RFQ’s) and Purchase Orders for the major/critical/other equipment packages. Assist in vendor site inspections and audits as deemed appropriate.

Reviewing vendor documentation to ensure that all quality requirements are understood

Issuing, follow - up and close out of nonconformance and/or delivery nonconformance (DNC) reports.

Liaising with the Client appointed classification Society/Authority.

Scheduling and organizing the necessary internal audits as deemed appropriate of the relevant internal departments, entities and subcontractor(s) involved in the Project and ensuring that any corrective actions required are completed well within time.

Participating and coordinating any Client/Customer initiated audits.

Participating in all Project meetings as required by Project Director/Manager

Establish KPI’s relevant to the Project complete with measurement / compliance to the indicators.
Qualifications

Master’s degree preferred for complex offshore projects

ISO 9001/45001 Lead Auditor certification for quality and environmental management systems

Fluent English for cross-cultural coordination with global teams; proficiency in Mandarin preferred for local stakeholder engagement

Strong negotiation skills to balance client expectations, contractor capabilities, and project constraints .

Advanced Excel and financial modeling ability.

Excellent reporting and presentation skills.

Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset.

Willing to transfer internationally and be prepared to spend extended durations at the various contract work sites

10+ years in offshore oil & gas management for EPC projects
