Our China Acoustics team plays key a role in implementing the extraordinary acoustic designs in Apple products by working closely with US team to review design, design for manufacturing and ramp production. This means continuous multi-functional collaboration with a wide variety of teams ranging from transducer design and audio tunings, to system hardware, software, mechanical engineering, quality and reliability. We are looking for Acoustic engineer who is self motivated and enjoys collaboration to help us advance audio performance in Apple’s next generation products. In this role, you will work together with the team on our acoustic hardware design and implementation.

You will work collaboratively on the acoustic integration design and implementation for our iPhone and Apple Watch projects. This role requires continuous cross-functional partnership with teams spanning transducer design, audio tuning, system hardware, software, mechanical engineering, and quality reliability. You will help bring extraordinary acoustic designs from concept to mass production, applying exceptional attention to detail to products that reach millions of people worldwide.","responsibilities":"Review acoustic hardware designs and assembly processes.
Validate acoustic designs and lead corrective actions for failure analysis during development builds.
Define test strategies and establish test stations for acoustic hardware.
Partner with US counterparts and cross-functional teams to support development builds at contract manufacturing sites.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with acoustic testing systems (such as SoundCheck, Klippel, or Audio Precision).
Experience with finite element modeling simulation (such as COMSOL or ANSYS).
Experience developing audio test scripts (such as MATLAB, Python, or similar languages)
Knowledge of audio signal processing and digital signal processing.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Acoustics, Mechanical Vibration, Electronics or a related field.
Understand the fundamentals of Acoustics (such as sound waves, propagation, sound fields, etc.).
Understand the speaker and microphone structures, along with acoustic equivalent circuit simulation.
Proficiency in English and Mandarin communication to support global cross-functional collaboration.
