Your Role and Responsibilities
- Design and implement integrated marketing and communication plans tailored to local customer needs, market dynamics, and stakeholder expectations. Ensure alignment with global strategies while driving measurable impact locally.
- Collaborate closely with local sales teams and other local stakeholders to activate product launches, deliver promotional activities, and customer engagement initiatives.
- Create and distribute high-quality content that appeals to target audiences. This includes developing press releases, articles, case studies, customer success stories, white papers, and industry insights that showcase ABB's technical expertise and market leadership.
- Build a comprehensive thought leadership program that showcases ABB’s expertise in China across key industry topics, elevating executive visibility and driving industry influence.
- Manage and optimize local digital channels and social media platforms. Oversee work provided by internal teams and external resources to ensure quality, consistency, and timely delivery of communication projects.
- Deliver internal communications that build engagement, reinforce corporate culture, and support organizational objectives.
- Monitor and report on local marketing KPIs, campaign performance metrics, and market insights to inform strategy adjustments. Use data-driven insights to continuously optimize marketing effectiveness and ROI.
- Ensure brand consistency and compliance with global communication guidelines.
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of professionals fostering a collaborative culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications for the Role
- Bachelor’s degree or above, major in English, Marketing, Journalism and Communications
- More than 8 years’ experience in B2B Marketing and Communications in MNCs
- Hands-on experience in campaign management, events, content creation, and digital marketing channels
- Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and deliver under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skill, especially cross divisions, functions with local/global team.
- Customer-centric mindset with the ability to understand stakeholder needs and adapt messaging accordingly.
- Fluent in English & Mandarin.
