Job Title: GBE Buyer ePWT
Job Summary:
GBE Buyer is responsible for managing procurement throughout the e-powertrain (motor system & electrical) product lifecycle, including supplier development and selection during project phases, order coordination and cost optimization in mass production, while ensuring supply chain stability, cost efficiency, and quality compliance.
Job Responsibilities:
1. NPI & VE-Resourcing
Acting as Project Buyer for his respective scope:
Lead and execute suppliers' selection process for NPI and VE/Resourcing (for the assigned projects) in alignment with the commodity panel Strategy
Own Project deliverables for his sourced components (Cost, APQP, Milestones (Protos, ODT, PPAP, SOP+6 months) and compliance to components designs, support TEFS
Suggest Resourcing opportunities to commodity & participate to VE ideas generation for GBE Projects
Execute VE, Resourcing, logistics productivity actions in line with AOP requirements and in collaboration with Commodity organization
Manage post-SOP Engineering changes with suppliers and secure first year of savings after award
2. Mass Production Operations
Act as Operation Supplier Contact (OSC) (Supplier List) for his GBE | Help X-Regional engagement on components scope when not OSC
Includes OES and IAM when the part is supplied by an OEM active supplier
Handle logistics/capacity/quality issues in the GBE as the first sourcing interface of plant supply chain & Quality (according to escalation process) | Collect capacity data from suppliers
Validate and negotiate charge-back amounts
Implement procurement mitigation action plan in the GBE for his OSC scope
Define and execute first level of actions of gap closure plan
Support for trade, compliance & sustainability related information collection
Improve GBE competitiveness through cost reductions in liaison with Commodity organization
3. Support and contribute to Commodity panels strategy within his GBE/Region by:
Executing productivity objectives
Ensuring supplier performance review and action plan tracking and feedback commodity for his scope of activity
Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree preferably in Engineering, Economics or Business Administration
2. Min 3y experience in Procurement, preferably in Automotive
3. Project management skills
4. Analytic thinking and leadership skills
