About this opportunity:
Lead the Automation Industry 4.0 organization to enable Smart Manufacturing and operational excellence across production. Own the strategy, delivery, and governance of automation, OT/industrial networks, modular automation standards, and SCADA platforms—ensuring safe, reliable, cyber-secure, and scalable solutions from design through commissioning and lifecycle support.
What you will do:

Build and continuously improve an efficient, high-performing Automation Industry 4.0 team that provides professional engineering support for automation system design, modular architecture, SCADA implementation, and OT network operat ions.

Establish and maintain technical standards, governance, and lifecycle management for PLC/HMI/robotics/controls, SCADA, and industrial networking.

Partner with Operations, Process, Engineering, Quality, IT, PEU and Global Industry 4.0 stakeholders to d eliver measurable improvements in safety, quality, cost, throughput and Product design.

Act as the manufacturing Automation competence center: identify opportunities, define roadmaps, and drive digital transformation initiatives (e.g., data acquisition, eq uipment connectivity, OEE/traceability enablers) aligned with site and global priorities.

Lead capability building: hiring, coaching, performance management, succession planning, and skills development
The skills you bring:

Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Control Systems, Electronics, Telecommunications, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

8+ years of experience in industrial automation, including 3+ years in a people leadership/management role.

Proven experience delivering multi-site or global automation/OT projects.

Strong knowledge of modular automation design and standardization (hardware/software architectures).

Hands-on understanding of SCADA concepts and integration with PLC /MES/ERP/historians.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Fluent English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).

Knowledge of OT cybersecurity standards and practices.

Solid understanding of advanced manufacturing processes and equipment.

Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma knowledge/certification.

Experience building and leading cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment
