If you want to take ownership of everything from day-to-day user support to our most complex end-user challenges, keep our core systems running smoothly and support our staff across the Asia Pacific region, then this could be the role for you.
Collaborating closely with the Head of China, local vendors and the wider Global IT team, you’ll be responsible for delivering reliable day-to-day IT support for our China office, retail stores and staff across the wider Asia Pacific region. From supporting remote access to printers and network connectivity, through to troubleshooting and resolving more complex technical issues, your adaptable and customer focused approach will be key to providing effective support across Level 1 to 3.

You’ll work with the infrastructure team on network changes and configuration, ensuring our core systems, hardware, and infrastructure aligns with local cybersecurity standards. With your meticulous attention to detail and proactive approach, you’ll identify opportunities for continuous improvement and handle administrative support duties as requested by the IT Manager.
Being our sole IT support Engineer based in China, you’ll have the autonomy to manage your own tasks and solve complex problems with minimal supervision, while having the confidence of knowing when to reach out to our IT team in Australia for their support and knowledge. You’ll take real pride in managing the expectations of our users in a positive way, providing consistent updates, and maintaining an excellent standard of customer service. You’ll approach your work with a strong sense of urgency and accountability, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and safely while protecting our systems, staff and customers.
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring extensive hands-on IT support experience across desktop, network or systems administration, ideally within a global or multinational company. You’ll have strong knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and core networking, TCP/IP, firewalls, as well as sound working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Office 365 administration. Experience supporting retail stores and logistics operations would be advantageous.
The ideal person will have experience implementing and supporting business applications, including new systems such as ERP and 3PL, alongside involvement in vendor evaluation and pre-sales discussions.
