The Role
Define detail design and negotiate requirements with other technical groups working on or interfacing with specific design.
The individual’s accountabilities will include, though not be limited to, some or all of the following:
Produce design schemes for major assemblies from initial designs and feasibility studies that may be used by other for detail design.
Prepare designs for products /components in line with the quality control system.
Responsible for creation of manufacturing drawings and data that comply with specification and required standards.
Ensure designs are functional, fit for purpose and satisfy the relevant design criteria.
Perform relevant basic calculations in support of design objectives.
Ensure that design methods and design solutions used are cost effective and can be manufactured efficiently.
Progress work as an integrated part of the project team, to ensure completion to agreed time scales.
Select appropriate current department instructions and standards and ensure these are applied to design schemes.
Be an active member of the team, contributing to the well running of the project in meeting schedule for assigned activities.
Raise operational problems as necessary with supervisor to ensure they are resolved with minimal loss of time.
Develop advanced understanding of manufacturing methods and processes and ensure these are relates to design actions.
Act on feedback from manufacturing to ensure this is related to the enhancement of documentation within the design office.

What we expect of you?
Perfect CAD skill, Competence in the use of an automated design package. Using 2D (AutoCAD), 3D (Inventor) and solid-modeling techniques.
1\Education level
Bachelor. Better master, Have a qualification in a relevant engineering discipline on pipe/base
2\Relevant Previous experience (minimum years of experience to competently carry out the role, not total year of experience)
Minimum 2~3 years of design in relative industry,. Vacuum industry background is preferred.
3\Knowledge areas/Skills (minimum level of knowledge to fullfil the role’s responsibilities)
