You will join our Life Sciences & Engineering team, supporting leading clients in the medical device sector. Your role will focus on driving reliability testing projects and supporting the continuous improvement of product reliability in compliance with industry standards.
Your missions
Lead the full reliability testing process: develop test plans, execute environmental/lifetime reliability tests, analyze data, and deliver reports; independently initiate and drive reliability projects to completion
Identify reliability risks based on medical product characteristics (such as ISO 13485 requirements), propose optimization recommendations, and enhance product reliability
Design or coordinate the design of automated test fixtures and jigs for reliability testing, define technical requirements, and guide suppliers to ensure efficiency and precision
Operate and maintain large-scale automated equipment (e.g., treadmill test benches, automated platforms) to ensure smooth testing operations
Support the team in DQT (Design Qualification Test) modules, including environmental, EMC, and safety testing; independently handle related tasks if experienced
Prepare English-language test documentation (plans, reports, risk records) in line with Philips internal standards and medical device regulations (ISO 13485), ensuring traceability and clarity
Collaborate with team members (including junior engineers), coach to enhance team reliability testing capabilities, and demonstrate leadership potential by leading small teams on complex projects
Your profile
Experience in reliability testing (over 5 years), with a proven track record of independently leading reliability projects from requirements analysis to implementation
Proficiency in designing or coordinating the design of automated test fixtures and jigs, with knowledge of mechanical/hardware automation logic
Experience in operating and maintaining automated testing equipment
Academic background: Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant field
Proficiency in DQT modules (environmental, EMC, safety testing) is a plus
Experience in the medical industry, with familiarity with ISO 13485, risk awareness, and documentation standards; experience with medical devices (e.g., ultrasound equipment) is preferred
English fluent. Chinese is a plus.
You demonstrate strong communication skills and team spirit, with leadership potential and a willingness to coach and develop others
