As a Development Engineer-Algorithm , your mission is to r esponsible for developing and optimizing core algorithms for leak detectors, including signal processing, filtering, auto-zeroing, calibration and intelligent diagnostics, to improve stability, response speed, accuracy and user experience . You will report to the Deputy GM .
You will:
- Develop signal filtering, stability enhancement, and noise reduction algorithms for leak detection systems.
- Design and implement intelligent zeroing, background decay evaluation, false alarm and spike detection, and large-leak recovery algorithms.
- Analyze test data and translate findings into product requirements and performance improvements.
- Collaborate closely with Embedded Software and Validation Engineers to implement, verify, and optimize algorithms.
- Develop and optimize signal processing algorithms to improve stability and response time;
- Design intelligent auto-zeroing, background drift compensation, false alarm reduction and recovery algorithms;
- Analyze test data and continuously improve leak detection performance;
- Collaborate with hardware and embedded software teams for algorithm implementation and validation;
- Participate in calibration, self-test and intelligent diagnostic function development;
- Prepare algorithm documentation, test reports and technical specifications.
- Education level - Bachelor's degree or above in Automation, Electronics, Control Engineering, Instrumentation, Computer Science, Communications or related disciplines;
- Relevant Previous experience (minimum years of experience to competently carry out the role, not total year of experience) : - Minimum 3 years of algorithm development experience; - Experience in signal processing or industrial instrument algorithms; - Experience with leak detectors, mass spectrometers, sensors or precision instruments is preferred ; - Experience in vacuum industry design is preferred;
- Having a certain foundation in English, good English reading ability.
- Ability to communicate across culture, with self-confidence and interpersonal skills.
- Language skills:Possess at least basic written English communication skills; verbal communication skills are a plus.
- Experienced in precision instrument signal processing, with strong expertise in signal stabilization, adaptive filtering, intelligent zeroing, background decay evaluation, and false alarm reduction algorithms.
- Other skills and knowledge: Good experience and usage level of the key MS office packages, e.g MS Excel, Words, Powerpoint
- Vacuum engineering knowledge or experiance is a plus.
