Minimum a bachelor degree in safety or environmental management or mechanical engineering with environmental/ safety management as part of academic program Minimum 5 years working experience in areas of safety, environmental, and industrial hygiene management in a manufacturing environment Experienced in working across all levels, able to navigate effectively within the organization and local authorities to pro-actively resolve EHS related issues Experienced in leading and executing organization-wide EHS initiatives and activities to continuously improve the organization/ employees awareness level on EHS Familiar with Chinese &/or local EHS regulations and fire prevention rules, with hands-on experience in local fire protect and leading the emergency response organization at local level Working knowledge of ISO14000 and ISO45001 is a must Good English communication and presentation skills (written and spoken), IELT level 6 expected
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES/ 任务和职责
Leads the management of safety, health & environment within the facility Organize the collection, evaluation and implementation of laws, regulations and standards related to environmental protection, occupational disease prevention and work safety in the company's production activities. Organize the identification and evaluation of hazard sources and environmental factors, and urge relevant departments to implement the management measures for unacceptable risks and significant environmental factors of the unit. Organize or participate in the drafting of rules and regulations, operating procedures, and emergency rescue plans for environmental protection, occupational health and safety, production safety, and fire safety of the unit, as well as for the prevention and treatment of environmental and occupational diseases and work safety accidents. Organize or participate in the education and training on environmental protection, occupational health and safety, production safety, and fire safety of the unit, implement company-level safety training, and truthfully record the situation of education and training. Organize or participate in the emergency rescue drills of the company. Urge the HR department to implement the occupational health examinations for employees before taking up their posts and when leaving their posts; conduct the annual on-the-job physical examinations for positions with occupational disease hazards and truthfully convey the results of the occupational health examinations. Organize routine inspections, Quarterly inspections and special inspections on environmental protection, occupational health and safety, production safety, and fire safety. Organize at least one comprehensive EHS inspection every month. Timely identify hidden dangers and put forward suggestions for improvement. Urge the implementation of rectification measures for environmental protection, occupational health and safety, production safety, and fire safety of the company. Implement corporate EHS policy, push and coordinate plant to meet corporate EHS requirements Response to customer EHS survey and on-site audit Drive the continuous and effective functioning of ISO14001 & ISO45001 management system
