Information about the job:
- Job Title: Mechanical Completion Engineer.
- Projects: Onshore.
- Location: Qingdao, China.
- Rotation: 51 days off per year, distributed in 6 flights.
- Contract: 6 months.
- Salary: USD 5,000 net per month, paid directly to your bank account. The salary continues during approved leave, provided the agreed working schedule is respected.

Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:
- Proven experience in mechanical completion within complex industrial or offshore fabrication projects.
- Background in offshore platform fabrication or similar heavy industry environments preferred.
- Solid understanding of project documentation, engineering deliverables, and construction interfaces.
- Familiarity with mechanical completion systems, databases, and documentation control tools.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and vendor documentation.
- Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams (engineering, construction, QA/QC, commissioning).
- Knowledge of HSE practices relevant to mechanical completion activities.
- Experience supporting procurement processes (PRs, technical evaluations) is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, including scheduling and workforce coordination.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Tasks:
- Analyze project and contract documentation to identify mechanical completion requirements and constraints.
- Ensure completion-related needs are embedded within engineering and project deliverables.
- Contribute to project schedules and develop execution plans for completion activities.
- Coordinate preparation and maintenance of completion dossiers, including test packs and records.
- Develop procedures, checklists, and completion philosophies; manage submission for approval.
- Oversee and maintain completion tracking systems, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Liaise closely with construction and fabrication teams to support execution and resolve issues.
- Participate in HSE planning specific to the completion scope.
- Define temporary site logistics, tools, and control methods needed for execution.
- Review and validate technical documentation from engineering teams, vendors, and fabrication units.
- Interface with vendors and support inspections, testing, and verification activities.
- Monitor quality and completeness of works in line with specifications and standards.
- Prepare and submit completion dossiers for review, certification, and handover.
- Support subcontractor scope definition and vendor performance follow-up where required.
- Plan, track, and close punch list items in coordination with all project stakeholders.
- Ensure timely implementation of corrective actions to achieve full completion closure.
