Covers all related ASML Factories (supporting) activities to assemble and test qualified modules and submodules into a complete system, including the optical fabrication processes.
Works independently.
Leads and drives resolution of technical problems or projects. Responsible for work package. Is a sparring partner for GL and Manager on process, projects and technical topics; is able to think outside standard processes.
Develops and maintains a network across several functional areas, to be able to drive solutions for structural problems within a competency and adjacent options.
Bachelor degree in technical domain (e.g. mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, physics)
Thorough experience in a technical production environment
or
Master degree in technical domain (e.g. mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, physics)
Solid experience in a technical domain.
Contributes to the solution of faults and takes the necessary initiatives and practical decisions to ensure zero repeat.
Solves and drives complex technical and process problems structurally (own competence). Analyses problems of own competence and processes.
Manages New Product Introduction by applying knowledge in product or process development projects; foresees production problems in the design phase and improves the manufacturability of the product.
Is actively involved in the release for volume takeover from D&E to Manufacturing.
Performs complex design engineering tasks, overseeing dependencies within the product/process.
Provides advice to others on own discipline or area of expertise. Works independently within own field of expertise.
Defines work packages, budgets and/or definitions.
Maintains, validates, provides up-to-date procedures, processes (work preparation) and blueprints/sequences for Factory execution.
Analyzes the production process, points out structural problems and bottlenecks, works out suggestions for improvements and initiates their implementation.
Continuously adapt, optimize operating instructions, process flow charts, routings, process parameters and indicators.
Pro-active identifies missing processes / procedures (in/outside the factory) and creates them.
Coaches (senior) operators, educates colleagues on content of work (including processes) and answering questions.
Provides feedback on behaviors.
Represents manufacturing in D&E/PGP, ensuring an efficient NPI process.
Communication at work center level with own module TS,CS,ME,SCE engineers.
Own level and 3 levels higher with (non) Factory departments (engineers, PL).
Aligning and influencing the level of PCM and management outside-Factory departments.
