Key responsibilities:
1. Innovation Project Delivery (Douyin Sprint Focus)
• Lead multiple concurrent innovation projects designed for Douyin channel growth, including: o Fast-track NPI / SKU extensions o Packaging or format adaptations for Douyin o Rapid relaunches, upgrades, or cost-down variants
• Own project performance on speed, launch readiness, cost, and quality, with clear prioritization aligned to Douyin commercial calendar.
• Apply agile project management principles to enable short development cycles, rapid decision-making, and fast issue resolution.
2. Project Initiation & Planning
• Translate Douyin commercial needs into clear project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Develop simplified but robust business cases and project plans suitable for fast approval and execution.
• Define critical path, key risks, and mitigation plans upfront to protect speed-to-market.
3. Execution, Risk & Stakeholder Management
• Drive execution with cross-functional teams including QA, R&D, Technical, Procurement, Regulatory, Packaging, Planning, Artwork and CMO partners.
• Act as single point of contact across internal stakeholders and external CMOs for Douyin-related projects.
• Proactively manage risks, bottlenecks, and trade-offs between speed, cost, and compliance, escalating decisively when required.
4. CMO & External Partner Management
• Coordinate closely with CMO sites to ensure alignment on accelerated timelines and equipment/capacity readiness for fast ramp-ups
• Support rapid onboarding of new CMOs or processes when required to meet Douyin demand.
5. Governance, Reporting & Documentation
• Maintain lean but effective documentation appropriate for sprint-based delivery while ensuring full traceability.
• Ensure all activities comply with GxP requirements and internal Haleon quality standards, even under accelerated timelines.
• Provide clear, concise project updates to Supply Chain, Commercial and Management teams, focusing on launch readiness and risks.
6. Project Closure & Continuous Improvement
• Lead structured handover to operations and supply planning teams.
• Conduct post-launch reviews to capture learnings and improve future Douyin sprint execution.
Requirements:
- 8-10 years experience in manufacturing, technical or procurement roles in pharmaceutical, Health food, consumers goods industries
- Breadth of knowledge and experience apply cGMPs and other regulations/guidance with an ability to interpret those in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership and influencing capability to lead and align cross functional members and external partners
- Excellent learn agility to acquire knowledge in new industries and fields
- Excellent problem-solving capability
- Bachelor or master’s degree of Food, Chemistry, Science, Biology in education
