This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cybersecurity features for industrial control products, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards and secure development practices. The engineer will work closely with firmware, hardware, system, and cybersecurity teams to develop secure embedded solutions, mitigate vulnerabilities, and support cybersecurity certification activities throughout the product lifecycle. The role aligns with cybersecurity requirements such as secure boot, secure firmware update, vulnerability management, code signing, and security testing activities identified in internal cybersecurity programs.
- Translate cybersecurity standards, regulations, and customer requirements into product and firmware requirements.
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded cybersecurity features and secure firmware solutions.
- Conduct threat modeling, risk assessment, and security architecture reviews.
- Identify, analyze, and remediate cybersecurity vulnerabilities through testing and security assessments.
- Support cybersecurity compliance, certification, and security documentation activities.(e.g., IEC 62443)
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to drive secure product development throughout the product lifecycle.
