What You Will Do
- 1.Outsourcing Strategy Development & Management: Develop DSS Virtual Plant Outsourcing Strategy - capable supplier base with Capacity/Quality/Technology
- a.DSS Product Requirements Collection
- b.Lead Outsourcing Strategy Development and Management
- c.Collaborate with cross functional team to execute the strategy to better support the business needs
- 2.Operation Excellence: Lead Virtual Plant OpEx activities
- a.Best practices sharing
- b.Driving cost down initiatives
- c.Identify and work with project champions to remove barriers that slow or prevent the successful completion of a saving project
- d.Facilitate operations and functional depts. to continuously improve operational performance.
- e.Provide input and guidance to cross functional team on a supplier management view of the ongoing improvement and the selection and execution of projects.
- 2.Supply Base Development & Management: Develop and maintain an Outsourcing Preferred Supplier base to meet the business needs
- a.Establish and build long-term supplier base strategy for DSS Virtual Plant
- b.Build a relationship roadmap and organize executive meeting cadence with strategic suppliers to drive business value
- c.Drive supplier consolidation and risk mitigation activities
- d.Participate the proper Contracts and Commercial Terms signed off to protect Virtual Plant product
- e.2nd tie supplier management for PCB, wire and plating
- 3.Supplier Performance: Work with cross functional team to manage supplier performance to meet the needs of the plant operation.
- a.Communicate the supplier's performance by using DSS Virtual Plant Supplier Scorecard
- b.Assist regular review btw plant and the supplier management team of the key suppliers to assure that our requirements are understood, and corrective plans are in place
- c.Achieve year on year performance improvements.
- d.Collaboratively use any available or new supply chain tools as required to improve gross profit, cash-flow, lead-time and CRD.
- 4.Saving Realization: Work with finance representatives to validate and realize VAVE project impacts and savings.
- 5.Compliance: Conduct all affairs with integrity. Promote PMB culture.
- 6.Perform other related duties as assigned by top management.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical degree
- Minimum 10 years-experience in Outsourcing Operation and Outsourcing procurement areas of automotive, data communication or consumer industries and 5 years in supervisor positions.
- Appropriate mindset and proactiveness to develop the culture within the organization
- Critical & Strategic thinking of business
- Effective communication in both Mandarin and English (work with English-speaking stakeholders directly)
- Strong leadership in managing the own team and influencing others
- High level of integrity and self-disciplined when working with suppliers and internal teams
- Good utilization of challenge process with full respect to others. Proficiency in working with cross-functional stakeholders while demonstrating teamwork spirit.
- Result driven and good sense of urgency.
